Christie Fultz LPC-MHSP, LCPC (IL), EMDR has received extensive post masters training in both Experiential and Psychodrama Therapies which allows a situation to be seen from a variety of perspectives and helps shift awareness. In addition, she has had specific trainings in addiction, disorder eating recovery, dual diagnosis and somatic transformation.  Since 2013 Christie has worked to support Partners who have experience relational and betrayal trauma.  In 2014, Christie trained directly with Dr. Barbara Stephens through APSATS Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (MPTM) training which utilizes a trauma model perspective in treating the traumatic impact of sex addiction and betrayal trauma upon the partner or spouse.  Christie has continued to specialize in offering therapeutic support and guidance to partners and couples impacted by betrayal trauma with a willingness to collaborate with additional therapists when necessary to offer thorough and transparent therapeutic process for clients.

Christie's therapeutic focus includes helping clients to find their voice to advocate for themselves, forming healthy boundaries in relationships, emotional literacy, releasing grief and loss and uncovering harmful core beliefs and behavioral patterns. Christie consistently intertwines spirituality, along with other mindful practices as a significant support for people. She believes that therapy is a highly intimate and deeply personal process into the innate truth and essence of another and must be approached with safety, caring, empathy, compassion and deep respect.

 

Christie currently has a private practice in Nashville offering individual therapy. In addition she offers individual intensives in Tennessee and Illinois.  Christie is a native Montanan and enjoys getting back to the Big Sky country and traveling to throughout the world as often as possible.
